Pressing on

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2

This scripture reminds me that we need each other. When I am overwhelmed I need friends to lead me to That Rock. Thank you for your help and prayers and encouragement in these dark days.

I love you,

Janiver

Janiver, I'm so sorry things are so rough right now. The overwhelming feelings make one seem as if they are losing control, but God is still in control and He is still holding you in His arms. He will carry you when the weight is heavy. I love you and am continuing to pray for your strength and encouragement. You are still a strong person, you are still an encouragement to others, and you will get through this dark day. Keep your chin up!

Hi Sister Brown,

You just shared one of my favorite Scriptures. I'm glad God is not just a fair weathered friend, but He is there when we feel overwhelmed. May you find the strength you need in Him and comfort in the fact that many people are praying for you. My family and I love you.

Janiver, my dear, I am so sorry.

Take courage and be calm. Think on God, on your precious family, and on your multitude of friends.

Job wrote these striking words:

"Harken unto this, O Job; stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God."

He's a Wonder, my dear friend. Lean fully on Him.

Love,

In the back of my Bible, during a devastating event in my life, I wrote the following words. It was a comfort to me, perhaps it may be for you, "We cannot know the beauty of the sunrise until we have waited in darkness." Am praying that strength, peace and victory become your song in your midnight hour.

Sis. Brown,

The Family of God is such a powerful and beautiful family. It humbles me and at the same time there is such a greatfulness deep with in to just be a 'part'.

We laugh together, cry together, and bear one anothers burdens...and oh how we need one another!

I am thinking of you today and praying for you!

Giving you a cyber-hug!!

Much Love,
