Chemo Daze

Wow! what a week. I've been so weak, but fortunately not too much nausea. Thank you for checking in on me. My family has been terrific, organizing meals, doing chores...while I sit or lie down. I was so proud of my Bethany girl cooking a home-cooked meal last night. She's got the touch!

Love you all so much. Also remember to pray for Sisters Torres and Hale as they go through their valleys as well. You are all great friends to us.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Psalm 5:3

Sister Brown, glad you're able to communicate with us at last, and that you have made it through your first dose of this stuff...and with not too much nausea.

I know about Sister Torres, but have not heard about Sister Hale. Which Sister Hale are we speaking of? If you don't think you should mention that here, please email me.

Love you. Keep believing.

Hey Friend,
Hang in there. We are praying for you.
I am not sure who Sis Hale is also. Can you please let us know?
Sis Torres is a great lady also. She is in my prayers also.
I hate that my beautiful sisters are suffering. Some day all this will be behind us.
Love and Prayers.

Hi Sister Brown,

I too am sorry that you are going through this, but I'm glad you have made it through this week. Our family and church will continue to lift you up in prayer along with these other good ladies you've mentioned. We love you.

So good to hear from you. You may feel weak in body, but your spiritual strength is such an inspiration to us all. Your faith touches so many, and reminds me of a saying, "Faith sings her morning song when night still darkens the sky." And that makes you so special not only to us but to God. Sisters Torres and Hale have a strength and a faith to look to - just because of you. Continuing in prayer for bushels of blessings and miracles. With love.

Your name is still on our Sunday morning prayer list here in Benicia. Chemo is not fun, but fortunately it is temporary! Don't push yourself too hard & always keep your eyes on the important things in life....

I appreciate your beautiful spirit!

Sis. Brown,

I just ran into your blog. I was so blessed to get to know you and your husband on our trip to Spain and Portugal. My husband and I fell in love with both of you!
I am praying for you. The spirit in your blogs display what a great and strong Lady of God that you are.
We are also in the 'cancer fight' with a 14yr old girl in our church.
If you feel up to it, can you update me on Cindy Hale?

Thinking of you, and praying for you today!
