Hope Maketh Not Ashamed

" Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; " Romans 5:1 - 5

"Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. " Psalms 31:24

God is our hope and strength...a very present help in trouble... He is a constant source of energy in this time of interminable waiting. Thank you for all your prayers and concern for us.

Your friend,

Janiver

"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." Romans 15:13

" ...hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God." Psalms 42:11

Truly, our Hope is in Him. The wonderful part is that He is always with us. During unsettling times the words "I will never leave you, nor forsake you" have raced through my mind. I know that you too have learned that He is always there - sometimes quietly and sometimes very noticeably. In either case, He is there. What a comfort, His special touch. Please take care. Prayerfully with love, Sis Hopper

How does it make sense that YOU are encouraging ME with your blog posts? Shouldn't it be the other way around? :) Anyway, I love you. My prayers are with you and your wonderful, wonderful family. You guys have touched my life, I wouldn't be who I am today if not for you Brown folks. ;)

Thank you so much for keeping us all up to date on your progress.

Sis. Brown,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts through your journey. You have encouraged me with your writings. The Lord's word is so powerful. We can always lean and depend on Him. Today experince the "prayer" that resides in your heart. Use your silent solitude to enrich your day and to elevate the calm that is within you.
You and your family will be in our prayers.

Love in Christ,

Good morning, Sister Brown--

Only today did I find this blog and learn the details of your little "setback."

You are a tremendous, godly woman, and as you so obviously know, God will bring you through this trial.

I came to understand a long time ago that life definitely is not fair...but remember this...God is. And He absolutely knows what He is doing. No surprises come to Him, He never makes mistakes, and thus we can completely put our faith and confidence in Him.

You want to hear just one thing that I consider impressive about you? (among many others)It is the quality of your family. You and Brother Brown are to be highly commended for your beautiful, intelligent, ambitious children--even Sarah, that charming, spunky redhead! :)

Please try to know how much I love you. I promise to continue to pray for you, for your children, for your church, and for Brother Brown. My love to everybody.
